About us

La Taberna de Javea is a charming bar that is tucked away in the narrow streets of Javea Old Town, or Pueblo as it is known locally. The building itself is steeped in history, having been originally built in the 18th century and serving as a bakery for over 150 years before being converted into a bar. True to its roots, the bar still retains many of the original features of the bakery.

Javea Old Town is known for its narrow, winding streets and beautiful historic buildings, many of which date back to the 14th and 15th centuries.
